As Chief Executive Officer, Lisa Lange is responsible for setting the direction for eMergent Benefit Solutions' strategy and vision. Lange has over twenty years experience in the benefits administration outsourcing industry. In particular, she has expertise in strategic planning and execution, contracting, negotiating, and change management. She brings skills in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, experience in formulating policy, developing and implementing new strategies and procedures, developing financial plans and managing resources.

Before founding eMergent Benefits Solutions, Lange held senior management positions for ExcellerateHRO, and was a Principal with Towers Perrin Consulting. At Towers Perrin, Lisa headed a team of consultants in the Mid-West. Her team provided administration consulting and sales support for clients in North America, implementation support for full outsourcing administration clients globally, as well as end-to-end delivery of administration services and vendor alliance support services.

 

As Chief Operating Officer, Gretchen Winterbottom is responsible for managing the day-to-day operating activities for eMergent Benefit Solutions, including revenue and sales growth, expense, cost and margin control. Winterbottom has eighteen years of successful domestic and international experience in Human Resource Management with the last twelve years focused on benefits administration outsourcing.

Before founding eMergent Benefits Solutions, Winterbottom held senior roles in operations and account management with ExcellerateHRO, Towers Perrin and eBenX. She brings to eMergent Benefit Solutions expertise in modeling HR service delivery and aligning HR solutions with organizational strategy, as well as strategic consulting with specific focus on the technology-business link. She has demonstrated skills in building and maintaining client relationships, internal and external marketing, selling and managing large strategic projects, team building and leadership. She is able to translate vision into achievable goals, and is an effective communicator and manager of people.

 

 
 
 
 
 

Leveraging on his background as a practicing attorney and CPA, Arthur brings more than twenty years’ experience in design, development and marketing of systems for employee benefits administration, pension plan design, personal financial planning, taxation, estate planning, contract and commitment management, as well as Internet accessible databases. He was awarded a U.S. Patent for his health & welfare benefits enrollment and billing system.

Arthur’s solutions have been used by employers with up to 20,000 employees, as well as large financial service organizations, and practicing attorneys, accountants, bank trust officers and financial service professionals throughout the US. Arthur has a B.S.B.A. degree (accounting; Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi honoraries) from Northwestern University; a J.D. (magna cum laude, Order of the Coif honorary) from The University of Michigan Law School; and is a registered CPA (Illinois).
